Our founder, Kim Leibowitza licensed acupuncturist and herbalist has been a passionate advocate and practitioner of TCM for over 20 years. Kim’s journey with TCM began with a personal struggle—extreme allergies that once made it difficult for him to function in the world. It was through TCM that he found dramatic relief and improvement in his quality of life. This transformative experience fueled his life long passion for learning and a desire to help others experience the same benefits.

Over the years, Kim recognized a challenge in his practice: while TCM was incredibly effective, the traditional approach of one-on-one consultations was limiting in its reach. He wanted to help as many people as possible, but the complexity of TCM, coupled with patient’s confusion over terminology and how to integrate remedies into their daily lives,often stood in the way.

Determined to find a solution, Kim went back to school to study software engineering and user experience design. His goal was clear: to combine modern technology with ancient wisdom to scale his ability to help others. He envisioned a platform that could unlock geographic barriers and increase access to personalized TCM solutions, all while maintaining the integrity of the ancient practices that had so profoundly impacted his life.Today, My Herbal Advisor stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation. Leveraging advancements in AI and mobile technology, we’ve created a digital health companion that makes it easier than ever to access personalized herbal solutions.
